Bismuth Ionization Energy

The Bismuth Ionization Energy is the energy required to remove from atom one mole of electrons with subsequent production of positively charged ion of Bismuth.
Bi -> Bi+ + e-
This process can be repeated many times, but the energy cost is increased dramatically. The general equation for the Bismuth is:
BiN+ -> Bi(N+1)+ + e-

Ionization Energy

Bi -> Bi1+ = 703.2 kJ/mol = 168.23 Kcal/mol
Bi1+ -> Bi2+ = 1610 kJ/mol = 385.17 Kcal/mol
Bi2+ -> Bi3+ = 2466 kJ/mol = 589.95 Kcal/mol
Bi3+ -> Bi4+ = 4372 kJ/mol = 1045.93 Kcal/mol
Bi4+ -> Bi5+ = 5400 kJ/mol = 1291.87 Kcal/mol
Bi5+ -> Bi6+ = 8520 kJ/mol = 2038.28 Kcal/mol
Bi6+ -> Bi7+ = 10300 kJ/mol = 2464.11 Kcal/mol
Bi7+ -> Bi8+ = 12300 kJ/mol = 2942.58 Kcal/mol
Bi8+ -> Bi9+ = 14300 kJ/mol = 3421.05 Kcal/mol
Bi9+ -> Bi10+ = 16300 kJ/mol = 3899.52 Kcal/mol
